NEARI Testimony in Pension Advisory Working Group

Executive Director Mary Barden and Vice President Amy Mullen testified at the second session of the Pension Advisory Working Group empaneled by General Treasurer James Diossa. The group is tasked with assessing the impacts and unintended consequences of the Rhode Island Retirement Security Act of 2011. The panel meetings will continue through early 2024 before the group prepares a report containing the findings and proposed options for consideration by the governor, speaker of the house and president of the senate by March 1, 2024.
